Final Warning
By George Stroh
February 10, 2014

Now learn the parable from the fig tree: When its branch has already become tender and puts forth its leaves, you know that summer is near; so, you too, when you see all these things, recognize that He is near, right at the door.
(Matthew 24:32, 33)

Maranatha Bible Church is reprinting a booklet I wrote about a year ago entitled "Final Warning". Our purpose is to introduce new Christians and/or any interested unbelievers to the basic biblical prophecies about the second coming of Jesus Christ and how to be ready for His return.

There are many reasons to believe that the Lord is near, right at the door. But this is not about predicting dates. No one except God of course knows the exact year, day, or hour of the rapture of the church and the second coming of Christ, nor the prophesied events of the seven-year tribulation period and the Millennial Kingdom that will follow. But we should also remember that Jesus Himself said we can know the "season" of His coming kingdom (Luke 21:29-31). Therefore, Christians are to stay alert, anticipating His imminent return; "But you, brethren, are not in darkness, that the day would overtake you like a thief..." (I Thessalonians 5:4)

We have been prayerfully giving this booklet to our family, friends, neighbors, co-workers and, like I said, anyone who is interested in what the bible says about things to come. Our prayer is that God will use His word and our witness to save some, maybe even some of those left behind after the rapture of the church who will undoubtedly be searching for answers. If you or your church would like copies of "Final Warning", please email us (gstroh@cox.net). The cost is $2.50 per booklet plus shipping expense.

The Lord is not slow about His promise (of His coming), as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing for any to perish but for all to come to repentance. (2 Peter 3:9) Maranatha!
