Spiritual Blindness

And even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing, in whose case the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelieving so that they might not see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God. (2 Corinthians 4:3, 4)
A blind man I once met said, "People are always asking me what is the worse part about being blind? The worst part is that you can't see!"
Most people are spiritually blind, meaning that they can't see or understand the truth of God's word, including the gospel truth. As a matter of fact, the Bible says that we are all born spiritually blind. Unless and until God opens our spiritual eyes, we just can't see; But a natural man (an unbeliever) does not accept the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; and he cannot understand them, because they are Spiritually appraised. (1 Corinthians 2:14)
For God. who said, "Light shall shine out of darkness," is the One who has shone in our hearts to give the Light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Christ. (2 Corinthians 4:6) Having received this marvelous gift of Spiritual sight, it is now my great privilege and solemn responsibility to reflect the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ to a world of blind people that are living in total darkness. And I pray that God will give them spiritually sight that they may also see and believe in Him. Maranatha!
