The Ark of Salvation

For the coming of the Son of Man will be just like the days of Noah. (Matthew 24:37)
The Bible tells us about Noah, a righteous man who obeyed God and built an ark that saved him and his family; "...I will send rain on the earth forty days and forty nights; and I will blot out from the face of the land every living thing that I have made." (Genesis 7:4) Everyone on earth but Noah, his wife, their three sons and their wives perished when God flooded the entire earth.
Yes... I believe this really did happen and so did Jesus who said; "For the coming of the Son of Man will be just like the days of Noah. For as in those days before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day Noah entered the ark, and they did not understand until the flood came and took them all away; so will the coming of the Son of Man be." (Matthew 24:37-39)
Then the Lord saw that the wickedness of man was great on the earth, and that every intent of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. (Genesis 6:5) These words are just as descriptive of today as they were in the days of Noah. Jesus said that He will return someday to judge the wickedness of man and that, like in the days of Noah, only a remnant will be saved through faith in Him.
As Noah and his family were saved because they entered the ark by faith, so will those who enter by faith into salvation provided in the gospel of Jesus Christ; By faith Noah, being warned by God about things not yet seen, in reverence prepared an ark for the salvation of his household... (Hebrews 11:7) Before it is too late, by faith, enter into the gospel of Jesus Christ, the only ark of your salvation. Maranatha!
