Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good; For His lovingkindness is everlasting. (Psalms 118:1)
On Thanksgiving day in America, family and friends gather to eat a turkey dinner, enjoy each others company and maybe watch a football game or a parade. It is also day when we gratefully pause to remember all the blessings the good Lord has bestowed upon us and upon the United States of America. For Christians, everyday is a day of thanksgiving; For His lovingkindness is everlasting!
Of course the greatest blessing we have received from God or ever will receive is the marvelous gift of His Son, our Lord Jesus Christ; For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life. (John 3:16)
